Run for a Seat in Student Senate

ASG has 50 open senator positions to fill between our two branches. We are seeking members who are dedicated to the student body and determined to improve Miami. We have three categories of Senators—On-Campus, Off-Campus, and Academic—who represent different constituencies, but all fulfill the same requirements.

Senator Elections

We will have ASG senator elections open this fall! If you are interested in representing in your fellow students, scroll to our “What does a Senator do?” section to learn about what your responsibilities would be and feel free to reach out to us to learn more. If you would like more detail, read the ASG Bylaws here and skip to Sections 106 (Student Senate) and 107 (Senator Responsibilities) on pages 8-9.
